We stayed in Villa Elena. We only needed two bedrooms, but the hosts were gracious and let us use one bedroom on the first floor and the attic. While the bedrooms are small (but functional), the attic is large and very, very pretty. The size of the bedrooms however is irrelevant, as the rest of the house is really beautiful and that's where one would want to spend the time. The winter garden was stunning, full of orchids, facing the forest with its own tv, sound system, breakfast place, massage chair etc. We travelled with my parents who were very happy to spend most of our stay in the winter garden. The winter garden is heated, in fact, there is no door between the kitchen/lounge and the garden. If anything, we found the house on the hot side. The whole house and the garden were spotless and the breakfast made to order and delicious. While there were small things that one would probably have in the kitchen by default (salt, pepper, a bit of oil etc), the hosts were more than willing to bring them over if we needed them. They went to the shops for us when we forgot to buy bread, brought us extra wine glasses, etc. The hosts were beyond accommodating and were there for us when we needed them. They live in the villa next door, and can be reached by phone. They are close, but the villa is entirely private. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but if travelling by car that is not an issue at all; location only adds a couple of minutes to the drive. I could not recommend the place highly enough!
Room Tip: The attic is beautiful. This place is a bit off the beaten path but well worth it. My family and I (6 total) stayed in the Elena Villa and loved it. The villa itself is beautiful and spacious and the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. The views are incredible but you don't have to go any further than out the back door to be in the woods. Florian is outstanding and goes above and beyond. We had fresh fruit on the table when we arrived, a hot breakfast delivered to our villa the next morning and he personally escorted us to the telecabina so we wouldn't get lost (and that was after we had payed the bill). I can't say enough about this place; if you're looking to stay in/near Busteni, stay here!
Room Tip: Plan to stay for more than one night to fully enjoy this place.- Spent a recent night at the Elena Villa with friends. The owners have thought of everything and have a delightful villa. They were kind enough to go to the pharmacy and pick up medicine for one of our ailing friends. Highly recommend if you are staying in Busteni. Don't know how hot it might get later in year but no air conditioner in Villa.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our night in "Bruno", one of the houses on the property. The house was immaculate and provided surprises at every turn. We were stuck in traffic from the airport on the way to the inn and the hosts cooked us dinner. The warmth and hospitality of this family can not be overstated. The house has unique and beautiful decor, and there are two massage chairs that were much appreciated after over 24 hours of travel. We really wished we had longer to stay. We drove to Bran and Brasov from the inn. The drive was relaxing. The drive from the airport took longer than expected, but I think it was elongated due to a holiday. I can't imagine anywhere else in the area that could top this experience.
Room Tip: If you have difficulty with climbing, Bruno isn't the room for you, but there are other options...- You would never imagine as you drive up to this place, what wonder awaits you. Florian and Elana have done an amazing job making this place a little Shangri-la. I have remodeled 5 houses myself, and really appreciate the attention to detail that the owners put into their villas. We stayed in the Villa Bruno, and can't say enough about the quality of the finishes and the cleanliness. My only complaint is that we didn't have the time to stay longer. If you are looking for somewhere to stay near Peles Castle or on the way up to Brasov, look no further...you have arrived.

We spent 4 days and it was wonderful: very clean, outstanding services, modern and comfortable amenities. The bathroom was HUGE, we had a large balcony with mountain view ( Crucea de la Busteni). The backyard was safe for children, fenced in and very cozy. Owners were on premises and very courteous . Probably the best services we received in Ro. We will definitely return.
BRUNO Villa in Busteni is really a little fairy tale house, such as the tree house or the gingerbread house, as other tourists named it before us. As you enter the house, a warm and hospitable atmosphere welcomes you, something so familiar and, yet, still unknown. Beside the fact that it is supplied with all necessary things that you don’t even think of (but very useful too), you may feel staying in a hotel, and yet much better than in a hotel… I can say that there is nothing you miss, starting from very good food (BIO), relaxing beds, heat, and warm water, TV cable, internet, PC, radio in the bathroom, massage chairs and so many more…All these would mean nothing without the hospitality of Elena and Florian, who are very special, modest and sensitive people, that you will love from the very beginning and who endeavored to spoil us in a very special way. And they did! Sometimes, words can’t express what the soul feels! I, together with my family (2 grown-ups and 2 children of 9 years old) enjoyed our staying and we will certainly come back! Many thanks to our hosts who made for us such a pleasant, intimate and relaxing environment!
We have experienced the best holiday experience in Romania. After a strange circumstance which made us uncertain of our trip we have arrived at Vila Bruno before Easter. Florian and Elena, the owners of this superb location, have not had our firm confirmation of the arrival due to the circumstances referred to above. More or less we have been suprise guests and this was the perfect test for Club Austria. We found a spotless villa, made warm for us in more than 1 hour and kept warm for the entire stay. Best of the Villa Bruno (although I should keep the list to a minimum not to have it reserved at all times): 1. Full view of Bucegi, including the lighting cross from the bedroom window during the night 2. View over the immediate forrest from the other window of the bedroom and all ground floor 3. Not able to find dust/dirt although insisted during the stay, absolutely perfect in this respect 4. Best breakfast ever had (need to admit though that our taste is probably very compatible with the owners', as both families truly enjoy the bio concept) 5. Garden and terrace, no proper words to describe; btw this has an indoor continuation, built with great inspiration 5. The perseverance and passion from the owners to make us feel good; looking at the negative comment earlier it is indeed challenging to understand how can things feel so different; we had to prepare hot milk, had to sleep and had to eat and nothing managed to disturb us. Bottom line I very rarely recommned products/services especially f the latter and in Romania but I have already recommended this to my best friend.

- We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Hotel Club Austria. It is a complex consisting of three villas which have been designed to the smallest detail. Each villa has a unique character designed for different tastes. As for the hospitality of the owners Elena and Florin, it is the best we have ever seen in our lives so far. Although the location is up by the forest and a little hidden, it gave us a very good feeling in the sense that we felt disconnected from the world but still felt connected as well, to our inner selves while having all the state-of-the-art amenities at hand. We recommend it to everyone who plan to visit Romania. A big well-done to the team who has contributed to our well-being. We felt like kings and queens. Thank you Elena.Thank you Florin for constructing and managing such a beautiful, peaceful place! That is what Romania needs the most at the moment, we believe. Gulen Hashmi

We live in US and I wanted to go to Romania for a long time and bring my husband and my 3 y old child along. I was looking for a hotel around Busteni area, something different as arhitecture+comfort+landscape. Out of hundreds of hotels and villas I picked Villa Iris. I was impressed by the beauty of the photo listed and later on I discovered the villa looks in reality just as the photos shows. When we got there we were so impressed by the owners of the villa. Two young people so wonderful, so friendly and so professional in the same time. Not only that they gave us a wonderful vacation, but they become our friends for a long relationship. I simply LOVED everything about the villa, starting with the building itself and finishing with the people who manage it. I defenitely recommend it to EVERYBODY!
