The spot from where the last kings of Romania used to admire the entire Prahova Valley. The access road is through the woods and is walked on foot or with a mountain bike.

A very well known POI which is reached in about 15 Km by road or by cable transport, starting from the city of Sinaia.

HEIGHT 2000 - "PIATRA ARSA" CHALET
|

Starting from the height 1400, the people who loves the mountain can continue the route to the height 2000, where is located the chalet called "Piatra Arsa".
Over the winter, from this chalet opening two ski parts : one towards hight 1400 and the city of Sinaia and the other one over the other slope of the mountain.
The entire plateau of Bucegi Mountains, at an altitude of over 2000 m, revealing its beauties mainly in the periods when it is not covered by snow. The multitude of scenic points where can be admired entire Prahova Valley and its most beautiful resorts - Sinaia, Poiana Tapului, Busteni - or the slopes covered with Rhododendron plants, colored in pink when the plants blossom, delight the tourists to every step. |

"BABELE" AND "SPHINX" ROCKS

These are natural monuments near the Babele chalet. You can reach these rocks in a sportive way, walking on the Bucegi plateau from the height 2000 - "Piatra Arsa" chalet, or in a more comfortable way, using the cable transport from the city of Busteni.

It dominates the entire Prahova Valley and it may be reached walking a tourist route of around 1 and a half hour, starting from the "Babele" chalet.

It is the highest peak in the Bucegi Mountains and it can be reached after a route of around 3 hours, starting from the "Babele" chalet.

The waterfall is at only one and a half hour walked distance from the villa IRIS.

It is declared a natural monument and each year attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. Here is the place where the river "Ialomita" springs.
It can be reached here by cable transport, with the start from the city of Busteni or continuing the ATV expedition from the lake "Bolboci" over the "Padina" chatle.
