    How do we get to the hotel ?  
 
 
Q: How do we get from the Bucarest International Airport - Otopeni, to the hotel ?
A: When you book through our online system, you can request shuttle services. A SUV of our hotel will bring you from the airport to the hotel.

Q: How do we get from Sinaia or Busteni to the hotel, in case we do not have a GPS device ?
A: The distance from the main road DN1 / E60 to the hotel is approx. 1.5 Km. The place to be left DN1 / E60 and the route to be followed up at the hotel are marked in the Location page.

Q: How do we get to the hotel by train ?
A: Our hotel is located at a distance of approx. 6 Km from the Siania railway station and 3 Km from the Busteni railway station. Our guests enjoy free shuttle from the railway station to the hotel and from the hotel back to the railway station, whether they arrive in Sinaia or in Busteni. Simply inform us in which one from the both cities you arrive, about the train number and the arrival time in the station (because the traffic on DN1 / E60 takes place sometimes with difficulty, we recommend - as far as possible, to choose as desination the city of Busteni, connected to our hotel also thru an secondary route).

Q: What about parking in your hotel ?
A: The hotel offers free private parking, our guests cars being parked inside the yard, in full security.

 
 
 
    Rooms, Breakfast & Services  
 
 
Q: How many rooms do you have and what types of rooms are available?
A: The hotel has only 10 double bedrooms: 6 in the Villa IRIS - of which two "Double Deluxe", three "Superior double" and one "Standard double", 3 in the Villa ELENA and one in the Villa BRUNO. Nine of these are endowed with "king-size" double beds and only one - the 3-rd bedroom of Villa ELENA, has two single beds.

Q: Is it possible to watch satellite TV and movies in the room ?
A: With the exception of rooms 3 and 6 from Villa IRIS (where you can watch cable TV programs), all other eight rooms of the hotel are endowed with a TV programs satellite receiver. The DVD-player is a standard facility in all the hotel rooms. For a fee of only 3 EUR / movie, the guests can select movies from a collection of over 300 DVDs, situated at the reception desk.

Q: Can my children stay in the room for free ?
A: One room can accommodate up to two adults. One baby or one child aged up la12 years (between 8 and 12 years, in case of Villa IRIS) is eligible to stay in your room free of charge, in the same bed with you, in baby cots, respectively in extra beds for children. Cots and additional beds will be made available by the hotel free of charge (when booking, you will please consider that the extra bed for children can be installed only in rooms 1, 2, 4 and 5 of Villa IRIS and in the 3-rd bedroom of Villa ELENA).

Q: Are babysitting services available ?
A: Yes, this kind of services are available and can be ordered through our online reservation, or directly at the hotel reception.

Q: Do you offer packages or special rates for events such as honeymoon or anniversary ?

    Booking & Payment  
 
 
Q: How can I make a firm reservation ?
A: For a firm and confirmed booking, use please the on-line reservation system currently on the web site, using a valid credit card, accepted by the system. The on-line booking system accepts reservations also without your credit card details, but your reservation becomes firm only after payment (bank transfer) of a reservation deposit amounting to 50% of the cost of your stay, based on a proforma invoice issued by us. After you will settle our proforma invoice, we will confirm your reservation by fax or by e-mail.

Q: Is your online reservation process secure to protect my personal and credit card information ?
A: Our booking system is one of the most secure, being owned by "Globekey" (www.globekey.com), one of the largest global provider of online reservation systems. The on-line booking system of "Globekey" are used by thousands of hotels worldwide. In case of our boutique hotel, the data entered by you in the booking process are strictly confidential.

Q: When will my credit card be charged ?
A: The transmission of credit card details in the on-line booking process is for guarantee your reservation purposes only. In case of cancellation or no show, the credit card will be charged with 50 % of the total cost of your reservation (the Optional Extras for your room and the Additional Services will not be charged), except you will reschedule the cancelled reservation at least 2 days prior the begin of your stay. The canceled reservation can be rescheduled one time only.

Q: When should I actually pay my reservation ?
A: The payment of your reservation - and, eventually, of other services you ordered on-line, will be performed at the reception desk, after you will accommodate. The payment will be made cash or by credit card.

    Cancellation & Changes  

 
Q: What is the hotel's policy in terms of cancellation and amendment of bookings ?
A: In case of cancellation of a firm reservation or No Show, the credit card will be charged with 50 % of the total cost of your reservation (the Optional Extras for your room and the Additional Services will not be charged), respectively the reservation deposit settled over bank transfer will be lost. If the cancelled firm reservation will be rescheduled at least 2 days prior the begin of your stay, the credit card will be not deduced and the reservation deposit will not be lost. The canceled reservation can be rescheduled one time only.

 

    Check-in & Check-out  

 
Q: What time can we check in ?
A: From 14:00 of the first day of your stay.

Q: When do we need to check out ?
A: Until 12:00 of the last day of your stay.

Q: What happens, when the check-out time will be exceeded ?
A: If the check-out time will be exceeded, without a prior agreement, we will be unfortunately forced to charge an extra night.

Q: Can we store our luggage at the hotel after the check-out time ?
A: Certainly, you can safely store your luggage in hotel after the check-out time, without any additional fee.

Q: What is the best season to visit the area where you are located ?
A: The Prahova Valley is Romania's most famous mountain region,  strongly visited throughout the year. The abundance of tourist attractions from Prahova Valley - such as Peles Castle, the rich tourist infrastructure, the various mountain trails and the extremely fresh air, are just a few of the reasons making from the mountains resort Sinaia and Busteni some of the most visited cities from Romania, regardless of the season. Naturally, those who love hiking are interested to come especially from May to October, while those more interested in winter sports, mainly  from November to March. People interested in clean air and relaxation are coming in the area, with the same pleasure, all over the year.

Q: What are the main attractions of the area where the hotel is located ?

Q: What is the VAT refund system in Romania ?
A: For accomodation, the current level of VAT is 9%. The VAT refund system is appliable for tourists from outside EU only.
